Thursday - May 9

 Today we read A Rose for Emily in common lit and answered questions about it. After, we watched the video/movie on the story. This story is a little confusing with the time line, but other than that I really enjoyed it. It was a easy day today because after that finished we got to anything we wanted, which was good because I’m getting sick and my head was starting to hurt.

Friday - May 3

Today we were supposed to present our poems, but instead we made a college and career presentations. It was easy because all I had to do was copy and paste the work I did on my previous assignments. I like this assignment because it really got me thinking on what I'm going to do after I graduate, I do only have one year left. I feel great, its Friday and I'm going to do a lot of baking when I get home, which I like.

Thursday - May 2

 Today we had to create a visual poem inspired by the style of William Carlos Williams. I didn't finish the assignment so now I have to do it for homework. This was a good assignment, but I struggle starting them off because I can't decide on the topic. I decided to do my poem about a summer I had from when I was younger. I learned how to incorporate the senses into my poem, making it feel like you were there living the moment too. Being creative spontaneously is difficult sometimes, but I have to learn sometime. I feel good, but sleepy because our family had a small celebration yesterday and we left late.
