Mar 4 - Monday
Today we didn’t have time to present our poems, so we read a poem by Gwendolyn Brooks called “We Real Cool.” The poem was about associating yourself with peers that are a bad influence. Which means having to fit in no matter how bad it affects you. People even tend to hurt others and themselves in the process. This happens a lot these days, especially because of social media. We have to know this, so we don’t get pressured into doing bad things. I like this lesson because it’s relatable to our generation and analyzing really helps. I’m feeling happy because we only have to physically go to school four days this week.
