 We finished the rest of the benchmark test today and we won't be starting anything new next week because its finals week. We also won't be doing blogs.

 Today the teacher didn't come, but the class was instructed to do common lit if they were failing. If they aren't failing, they could work on something from another class.

 Today we didn't have an actual class, we had to go to the auditorium and listen to people who want to help us set up for next year and after high school.

 Today we didn’t do anything new, but we did have to take a benchmark test. We only did twelve questions today through and we will finish the rest Friday. It is a part of our grade so we can't slack off.

  I was born in Georgia, and I have lived here all my life. My family goes to Mexico at least once a year, so there isn't a possibility for me to ever forget where we really come from. We always try to incorporate my parents' traditions to the new ones we've learnt in the US. That includes learning Spanish. I'm grateful my parents taught us Spanish as our first language because if not we wouldn't have been able to speak so frequently to our family in Mexico. I chose the pictures of dancing and music because we still see and hear it especially when we go to parties. The only thing I have to better myself in are the dishes, all the food we eat is delicious, but I can’t make it. I don’t want to be the one to discontinue everything we know from our home country, so I must learn.

 Today we sat in groups of fours, but we didn't even do anything together. We did have to copy down some notes. Something on denotation and connotation, we also had some examples of words and we had to write the same word but with different context.
