All we did today was start a benchmark test in illuminate and apparently this test will enter the grade book, so I have to choose the best possible answer. We're doing question 20 tomorrow because it's an essay and we need time to write it. I read two different passages, some were multiple choice, and the others were a written response. It wasn't hard but some words I had difficulty remembering what the meaning was. We also were supposed to take a vocabulary test based on the vocabulary we did last block day, but we did the illuminate test instead.

 We did the second part of illuminate which was an essay. I didn't learn anything new, but there were a lot of steps to accomplish it because we had to follow a specific format. It did make writing the essay much easier, I didn't finish the quiz so I have finish it Friday or I fail the class and I don't want that to happen.

 Today we started presenting our one pager that we started last week. Since I was absent Thursday, I had tough time understanding some parts of the assignments like the questions part. All of the poems were poems that Emily Dickinson made, after reading and presenting the poems you could tell what her poems mostly about death, love, nature etc. Poems are a little difficult to understand, but after analyzing you can really tell what they're about.

 Today we read another poem by Emily Dickenson and to be true I didn't understand it much until we annotated it. The quote was mostly about needing to suffer (at least a bit) to truly feel successful.
